The Art of Intuitive Eating

Language Translations: Beautiful Guacamole Soup

Serve as a whole meal, or as a side dish along with your favorite raw food entree or bread. (See the Archive section for ideas!)

The Little Story: Language Translations—The Healing Feast Around the World
Two weeks ago we checked to see how many places in the world The Healing Feast is now being viewed, and discovered that it's entered into sixty-four countries, some of which contain just one person. We love to think about a person in Argentina, The Isle of Man, Romania, Sweden, India, or Greece, reading about living foods, living a love-based life, and being a part of The Healing Feast family.
Double Rose
One thing Rex discovered is that Google has an automatic language translator. We ran our previous post through about twenty different languages—even other English speaking ones like Gaelic—and in seconds there was a translation of my words, shining back at us.

It was wonderful to see different and exotic looking alphabets from countries like Egypt or Morocco forming words on screen. Then we picked a translation and had it revert back to English, and it came through with a little glitch. When we wrote about Sweet Treat Tea, that it was great to have when "energy slacks", the translation back to English said that the tea was great to have when energy "pants"! We did a double take on "pants" and then burst out laughing as we realized that slacks and pants are both items of clothing!

Even with these charming quirks it's well worth it: share the automatic translator with your friends in foreign countries. It's free, it works almost instantaneously, and it will bring so much pleasure and information into many people's lives.

Communication is the key for all of us to make it through this huge earth transition. The global community is truly here. We belong as much to the "innernet" (a word that emerged from my consciousness last month) that describes the silent, inner communion that flows between all peoples on the globe, as we do to the Internet, the outer manifestation of the activities of man's life on Earth.

all the precious words
you and I have exchanged
have found their way
into the heart of the universe
one day they'll pour on us
like whispering rain
helping us arise
from our roots again

Rumi, Dancing the Flame

Our lives,
so seemingly small,
ripple out
to the whole universe
as tiny whispers
like the sounds
of butterfly wings,
and the clear voice
of the living truth.
